Summer Camp is Coming, sign up now! Chinese Immersion Summer Camp!
The Northwest Chinese Academy will offer five two-week sessions of Chinese immersion camp during the 2010 summer. Children from three years of age through those entering 6th grade in the fall, will enjoy a virtual tour of China through age-appropriate, hands-on activities exploring its language and culture.
Each camp session will focus on a specific geographical region of China. Children will experience the history, customs and people of each region through fine arts, literature & storytelling, music & dance, hands-on experiments, cooking and geography activities. Children will also explore the region’s cuisine as teachers guide them in preparing foods from the city they are studying.
